Indoor walls are a great way to learn technique and get strong in preparation and training for climbing outdoors. Most will run courses to teach you the basics and introduce you to other climbers.
Huddersfield Area
Huddersfield Climbing Centre
Huddersfield's newest climbing wall, set in the fantastic new Leisure Centre and part of the Climbing Centres Group who also run, Harrogate, Reading and Manchester
The centre has 27 lines of lead climbing and top-roping, including two auto-belay lines.
The bouldering room will always be set with 55+ problems, and regular route-setting is their priority. The new Leisure Centre has great facilities including a cafe selling great coffee & cakes, as well as hot and cold food.
KAL Card holders receive 20% off entry fees, and 10% off in the cafe.
